one of the final projects in my interactivity class was to create something visual programmed with processing. I made a music visualizer using the ess library (audio input is coming live from the mic). I’m imagining this projected on a wall for a party..
ahhhh I do not enjoy my voice. or being videoed. I will get more comfortable with this, I willll xD
was so nervous making this, I feel like it’s not the real me. :’]
thank you to everyone for their initial suggestions and encouragement! I hope I can keep you entertained for these two minutes ans sixteen seconds. c;
The assignment was to come up with a concept for a display-free that utilized a gesture-based interface.
My concept is based around gestures of nervousness, excitement and anxiety. Gestures will trigger changes in the music player whether the user is conscious of performing the gestures or not.
Personally I often listen to music to calm me down when I’m frustrated, nervous, excited, etc. Hopefully the process of using these gestures to control a music player will make the user conscious of the gestures they wouldn’t normally realize they do. Noticing these gestures may help them become aware of their anxiety, thus giving them more power and control over it.
Music in the video is NOT owned by me. :]
I was overwhelmed with guilt over the lack of time and effort I put into a recent video project of mine.. so somehow that gave me motivation to play with flash? not quite sure how that worked but here is the result ;p
this is my first flash animation ever :DD
Done done doneeeee ;D (so blurryyy, hope to do better than this one day D:)
