Currently working on a video project where I compare independent businesses with companies that take advantage of or ruin independent businesses (i.e. urban outfitters).

Some of the footage is of the process of making this outfit (hoodie and leggings will be up on etsy after finals).. Another excuse to work on my own stuff for class, haha, thanks to my roommate Caro who gave me the initial idea~

Sooo… I did a little shopping while I was in LA. ;p Mainly in the Fashion and Garment District. There was so much cheap fabric and clothing (guess who got 5 yards of galaxy chiffon?)!! :o

Still haven’t had the chance to make a giant post about the trip since I’m busy finishing up my last few days at work, as well as working on end of semester projects for college. :c

But here’s a photo of my outfit today. :D Julie has been trying to make me get a leather jacket for years.. I got this super cheap from a street vendor who only had one or two racks of jackets. c;

Going to LA I had the goal of getting a pair of knock-off Jeffrey Campbell Litas, hahaha. They are around the same price as some of the ebay pairs, but I got to try them on before buying which is what I needed, since the smallest size was 6 and I wasn’t sure if they’d be too big. I got a black glitter pair and they fit perfectly! c:

I feel like I should be listening to the Ramones or something.. the black jacket and shoes are a very different and dramatic addition to my wardrobe hmm..

I honestly can’t recall what I was thinking this morning while getting dressed.. All I know is that the cat and I have matching glasses.

Halloween Outfit Challenge, Day 2

Starting yesterday I decided to dress up halloween-related each day until halloween. :] Here is today/tuesday, orange and black and bones~

Halloween Outfit Challenge

This week I challenged myself to wear something halloween related every day. ;p So here’s monday~

Bodysuit made by me (tutorial here), shorts studded by me and I’m wearing (breaking in) my new neon yellow boots. c;

UGhh why do my friends spoil me so much?? D:

This shirt came in the mail today mysteriously from Melissa. She knows me well, too well… I love laser cats.

I paired it with a bottlecap bow Eva made me~ My wardrobe is slowly becoming more and more AWESOME.

Looks like it’s time for me to stop being lazy and ship stuff out at the post office.. :p
