My roommate Caro and a small group of her highschool friends all have shirts with a different rapper on them. Last night she decided to include me in the group and she chose Biggie (who apparently had an intense rivalry with my roommate’s rapper Tupac). ;p

So we used the projector we checked out from the art building and painted him on a crop top. My roommate painted his face and I painted the crown~

Turns out I already knew a Biggie song before last night. But now I am learning more about him. ;p

I am now wearing this shirt proudly~~

My roommate Caro showed recently showed me the newest music video of a band called Die Antwoord. I’d never listened to them prior to that, but I’m really enjoying both their music and videos now..I love this song especially after it hits around 1:40.

I also love how there are so many Basquiat-like drawings all over. After I noticed Yolandi’s white crop top I had to make one for myself. I knew that I wouldn’t wear a white shirt so I inverted it and made a black one instead. ;p

Sometimes you just have to make something for yourself. Not for school, selling, or even any practical reason at all. I find that it gets rid of the pent-up stress caused by not having much free time~

Made with a men’s black t-shirt ($0.90 from a thrift store) and tulip soft fabric paint. :]

And I love it. My future children will grow up with these songs.
