If any of you have been wondering lately what I have been up to, and why I haven’t been posting nearly as much as usual, here’s a basic list of my current projects. :]

• A corset with a ribcage that will light up to music/ambient noise. I’m making this for Engineering Open House which is on march 9-10.
• A collaboration with Madk!n! that we will be shooting on march 3.
• A couple new shirt designs for clothing by szmoon.
• College coursework!

The photo is a screenshot of a program I wrote (for class) that went bad. It’s eventually supposed to cover up the background with the rainbow static, but I tried to make it process too much information and it froze on me (and added some extra stuff..). It still needs some fine-tuning.

I thought it looked kinda cool though so I’m sharing, haha~

Since I like lists.. These are the art history class I’ve taken, in order from earliest to most recent.

• AP Art History (Ancient to Modern) - so many memories with Eva, hahaha
• Intro to East Asian Art
• Renaissance to Modern Art
• Ancient to Medieval Art
• Realism to Post-Impressionism
• Spanish Art 1700-1900

Next semester will be the first time in 3.5 years that I’m not taking an art history course. *o* Graduating never seemed so.. possible until now. ;p And I don’t have many gen eds left either, it’s mostly new media from now on.

I am done with classes for the semester and will get to my messages as soon as possible, thank you all for your love and patience! c;

Sometimes I feel like all the good things that happen and everything I accomplish are only because of my own hard work. Sometimes I wish I could just get lucky and have something nice happen without me trying so hard all the time. Does that ever even happen or is it just a dream people have?

But complaining aside, here are some things I’m trying to keep in mind:

• Things don’t always go your way, sometimes a lot of things at once. It happens. But good things also happen all the time. Don’t forget about them and remind yourself of them when you feel like you’re drowning in the bad.

• Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, you won’t be find a solution. If there’s nothing you can do about the problems, forget about them and just make the complete best of what you’ve got. Turn something bad around and twist it until it’s something good. Make your life be happy.

• Don’t give up on hoping, wishing and dreaming. Don’t be too cynical. But also don’t be too naive. Be realistic while remembering that almost nothing is impossible.

so I have a thing for many different types of songs.. here’s some of them:

-songs that mention other songs/artists (this is one of my favorite things to find, I can’t really explain why c; )

-songs that mention artworks

-songs that mention video games

-songs with pretty use of the xylophone

I keep lists of songs under those categories, so I guess that makes this a list of lists? xD

-hopefully finish my dress

-organize some pages on my tumblr

-and if I have time/energy, do this to a shirt

let’s see how far I get xD usually I end up doing something completely different..

so you guys might not know this yet, but I am a list person

i have wayy too many lists, but they make me happier so oh well :p

winter 2010 projects

-this dress
-I have an idea for pokemon undies c;
-finish up my winter coat (resale coat, going to replace fur with plaid, shorten it)
-make christmas gifts (not going to describe those, just in case ;p)

I’ll probably be adding to this.. let’s see how much I get through xD;
