Today was a day of snail mail suprises. c; After a long, 9am-7pm day of classes it’s always nice to find something waiting for me at home.
The first was a package from my parents with my easter basket. Actually, at first it looked more like an easter basket for Toast… but after I unpacked it I found all the people candy for me. ;p

The second package was from Leyla of sassyNpunk Boutique!

A while ago she found out from a post I made on facebook that I really liked their pastel bat hair clips, and she decided to send me one ah!

Cute packaging~

It’s so adorablee, can’t wait to match it with an outfit! Thank you Leyla~ ^o^

I don’t even know why I did this, I loved the long, pink and yellow hair. ._.
Note to self: Never cut or dye my hair when I’m upset or stressed ever again.

For the past year I’ve been trying to grow my hair out. My goal is to have most of my hair be really long and at the same length.

But before I decided to do this, I cut it. Really short. :x This is what it looked like at the end of december 2010:

During the year from that photo to now, I’ve only trimmed my hair a few times because I wanted it really long. Originally I planned on waiting until the shortest layer was at a nice, long length before I cut all the layers to one length.

But it’s hard to keep hair healthy if you don’t trim it… last night at around 12:30 am I finally got sick of the kinky and split ends and cut all my hair to the length of the shortest layer (my roommate help even the back a bit ;p ). Now my hair feels much healthier.. I miss the length but my hair grows pretty quickly.. so hopefull it will be back soon!

After talking to some of my friends last thursday, I finally decided to make the leap (leap, aha…) and bleach the natural brown section of my hair. For those of you who know me, I’ve been struggling with this decision for awhile. ;p
There are two main reasons I wanted to do it:
It will be much simpler to bleach my roots when they grow out. When I had the brown section, I had to make sure to carefully tie it out of the way of the bleach. This way I won’t have to spend as much time taking care of my hair, which is nice for busy college life.
I’ve been lusting over hair color combinations that just weren’t doable with my brown hair. Not all colors went well with it. Now I can do pink/mint lavender/pink… so many options~ c;
These four photos are the stages my hair has gone through since last thursday. Started with my normal bangs and one bleach (still leaving the brown hair), then cut my bangs and bleached the brown, then dyed it all pink, then re-bleached the brown section because there hadn’t turned completely blond yet.
Next step is dyeing the blond section (mint??). :]]

I’ve kind of drastically changed my hair

But I can’t upload a photo yet because my boyfriend wouldn’t promise not to look at my blog for the weekend. >:c He is away and I wanted the first time he saw it to be in person and not online.

It’s so hard to resist blogging about something when you blog about everything, haha.. can’t wait to show you guys!
