LAaaa, the shirts are almost ready! I’m so excited to put the finishing touches on them~
This year Eva gave me the best christmas gift ever. She hand-printed custom paper tags with my kitten design, in pastel colors! And she didn’t even know I was planning to screenprint Sin Kitten shirts. Somehow she just gets me. (I think she still has some linocut prints in her etsy shop if anyone is interested~)
Today I made the white fabric tags. :] About half a year ago I got a roll of Crafter’s Images Cotton Poplin printable fabric, and didn’t get the chance to try it out until today. I am in love with it, it’s so simple to use and is nice and soft after you take the paper backing off. If anyone’s interested in trying it out I’d recommend getting it at Jo-Ann Fabrics with a half off coupon, it looks like they’re pretty expensive most places online.
Once I finish off the shirts and take photos they will be up in my etsy shop. :]]

Eva and I hadn’t been thrift shopping together since before she moved to Seattle this summer! D: So today we fixed that.
We discovered how fun it is to take photos at the thrift store.. you don’t even have to buy the clothes AND you have awesome scenery. Slight cam-whoring in this album (on flickr here).. but we had fun and that’s what counts, right? ;p

Spending the day with Eva!~~

I think we’re going thrift shopping first…

And thanks everyone for the advice on the boots, I got them (and no one bid against me)! ;p

I just finished taking the final exam for my 6th and last art history course

Since I like lists.. These are the art history class I’ve taken, in order from earliest to most recent.

  • AP Art History (Ancient to Modern) - so many memories with Eva, hahaha
  • Intro to East Asian Art
  • Renaissance to Modern Art
  • Ancient to Medieval Art
  • Realism to Post-Impressionism
  • Spanish Art 1700-1900

Next semester will be the first time in 3.5 years that I’m not taking an art history course. *o* Graduating never seemed so.. possible until now. ;p And I don’t have many gen eds left either, it’s mostly new media from now on.

I am done with classes for the semester and will get to my messages as soon as possible, thank you all for your love and patience! c;

Calaverita for Selina 2011

calaveritamexicana:

The bones will dance around their graveyard

and sprinkle glitter on the streets.

If you join them I will join you

and sing the moon to sleep

we’ll dance and drink

they’ll never set us free

and of course remember to wear heels!
