I think this is the first dress I want to make this summer :D
been really inspired by lightning bolts for awhile now.. I might upload some inspiration photos later.
the pink is going to be a stretchy mesh kinda fabric (scandalous, I know ;p ). the black dots are going to be those square black studs. never used studs before…

business cards I designed, ordered from moo.com :]
I’ll admit they’re a bit pricey compared to other printers, but I did my research before buying and their quality really was one of the top two. also, a lot of artists you moo cards so I figured it’d be smart for me to go with a common size. their customer service is great too.
cards can be used as fake mustaches (link is of rough drafts I printed myself) get it? costume and design in one haha.. ;D

first try at screenprintingg

For my birthday this summer my parents got me the Yudu screenprinter. c; I had a speedball set a while ago but it was really difficult to do anything without an actual lightbox.

I have to say the actual machine is amazingggg. =w= It’s got the lightbox built into the system it’s a nice big size compared to basic screenprinting kits (max screen is 11”x 14”). The only thing I think is silly is the Yudu-brand supplies; don’t buy their refills!!! Other than the screens, the other supplies (paint, photo emulsion supplies, etc) can be purchased farrrr cheaper from other brands. :]

Here are some photos of my first try at printing. Three colors with slightly shifted registration marks (on purpose, I was going for a 3d look. Did it work? :D). Lyrics are from a Flight of the Conchords song.

sorry it’s a repost.. I wanted to change it from a note to a photo post :o

An idea for an 11” x17” screenprinted poster.. Not so sure about the words yet.

I went to my first 3D movie yesterday with my friends. I decided to keep the glasses and take the lenses out… just in case I need fobby glasses one day. xD
Later in the evening while I was showing my boyfriend the glasses, I noticed a few black marks on his t-shirt.  I ran to get my fabric paint, put it on the glasses and stamped it on the shirt while my boyfriend was wearing it. ;p
