I think this is the first dress I want to make this summer :D
been really inspired by lightning bolts for awhile now.. I might upload some inspiration photos later.
the pink is going to be a stretchy mesh kinda fabric (scandalous, I know ;p ). the black dots are going to be those square black studs. never used studs before…
was already toying with the idea of making gloves…
these are so prettyy c:
if I was taller and had money to spend on anything I wanted, I’d probably want this top
neither of those conditions are true though
it’s available here on ebay for anyone who’s interested ;p
hmmm… my dad’s friend originally picked this dress up at a thrift store because she thought she could make fix it up and wear it (she knew the designer brand). she found out I liked sewing and gave it to me to make something out of.
I am in love with the print. originally I didn’t know the designer, diane freis. I looked her up and it seems her dresses are going for $80-$200 on ebay.. now I feel guilty about cutting this up as it’s brand new (still plastic covers on the tassels).
but not too guilty. the print is too much to resist: bright obnoxious colors and roman-esque pictures, all in one. sorry, dress..
found this hat at a salvation army store about half a year ago. I think it was under 2 dollars :D
I tried googling the name on the label, “chas a. stevens and co,” to figure out roughly what time period this is from..turns out the company ran from 1886 all the way until 1988. and since I have barely any knowledge on hat styles this didn’t help me much :p
anyone know when this may be from? here are more photos:

I really love this ideaa
I feel like it should do something.. extra though
like if the eye pieces were screenss? hmmm

I was serious when I said I wanted to design something for these shoes ;p
now I really want the shoes.. ;o
maybe I’ll try making some in the future? hmmm
current inspiration: hot pants
bright ones, floral ones..don’t like the kind of hot pants where half your butt shows.. but I like these :]
I feel like these are the next step to being pantsless. maybe soon I will be brave enough to wear something like these pants out and about. ;p
