hi, i'm going to be a college student this next fall and i'm going to study fashion design. i want to buy a laptop and a fashion design software. do you have any good reccomendations? what do you use to make your designs you post on your blog? thank you.

a lot of people would recommend a mac laptop for design students.. but I personally find windows laptops much more agreeable. currently I have an hp touchsmart tm2, which is a tablet pc that let’s me draw directly on the screen (with wacom software) with a stylus. many people use a separate wacom tablet to achieve the same effect on normal pcs and laptops.
I usually use adobe photoshop for my fashion illustrations (lot’s of layers helps me try different ideas, especially with show/hide layers).
