clothes, clothes, clothes
I’ve disliked having a love of clothes for a while now, since I sort of relate wanting clothes to being materialistic. does that make sense?
but I just realized something. I don’t like clothes for their brand or label (I actually try to avoid those). I like clothes for the enjoyment I get in making them, thinking of new ideas and matching them in outfits.
so it’s more of a creative outlet rather than a materialistic urge? and I think that makes a difference.. maybe I’ll stop feeling so guilty about all the clothes I own, and want to own. at least I hope so :]

I know what you mean. I have a hard time clothes shopping because instinctively I end up picking out the most expensive clothes, not because I care about the price but that’s just what I think would look good!

Oh, goodness. I understand the dislike of the materialistic urge completely. I thought I was the only one who felt that way.
