One of the reasons I haven’t been blogging as frequently lately is because my boyfriend Michael is back in town. c:

At the beginning of the summer he was exploring England for a few weeks and is now back for 3 weeks. After that he is heading off to China on a scholarship to learn more Chinese - for 8 weeks. Then he will be back for 1 or 2 weeks before I leave for school and he goes to Washington DC for a semester to intern somewhere. So needless to say I am spending more time than usual with him before he leaves for China.

Above is a photo from when we were relaxing at the beach near his parents’ house in Indiana. And below you can see Michael trimming their dog Jake for the hot summer weather - such a sweet and calm dog~

In between these lazy, relaxing days I am working hard on lots of other projects. One of those is making two dresses for Eva’s sister to wear at her quincianera this summer. And currently I’m preparing for my booth at a local French Market (basically a fancy name for a farmer’s market) this saturday! c;
