Does this top look familiar? It’s actually the same top I diy-ed with studs and sharpie paint pen last summer. ;p I never ended up finding an occasion to wear it so I found another use for it!
I found out that you can remove sharpie paint pen with nail polish remover. The paint still leaves a white residue though, so I painted over the pleather parts with black fabric paint and now it looks as good as new. :] Then I painted the skeleton design over it all.
Wanna know what I plan on doing with this top now? :D I’m trying to turn it into a music visualizer that will light up to the frequencies of live music/ambient noise. Kind of similar to my last project (a hanging wall visualizer) but with completely different wiring.
With some guidance from one of my professors (as well as a ton of mistakes and some burning myself with bad wiring) I was able to make a circuit to light 50 LEDs at the exact same time. It’s not a pretty circuit but it gets the job done.
