I’m going through all my Japanese and Taiwanese magazines from 2009…
…and it’s amazing how so many of the things in the magazines are in style now, 2-3 years later. I keep seeing creepers, crosses, metallic or patterned leggings. Asian fashion always seems to be ahead of American and European fashion by at least a few years.
This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed it either. Years before lace and floral became popular here, I saw it all over in Asian malls and markets. The same thing with bubble skirts and dresses.. I could only get them in Taiwan at one point, but a year or two later places like kohls and forever21 started selling them. :o
