Did you ever get to finish your mini top hat? I'd love to see it!
AnonymousNot yet, but it should definitely (hopefully) be done by next thursday since that’s when it’s due. ;p Here’s what it looks like so far.. the white parts are the buckram understructure that haven’t been covered by fabric yet.
That slight curve in the stand (the fancy term I recently learned for the cylinder portion of the hat) took an insane amount of time to do.. ._.
The fabric is a suede-like purple, and I’m hoping to decorate the finished hat to match my old cheshire cat costume. Not sure yet if I’ll do that though..
